The Theater im Hafen stop is located directly on the south bank of the Elbe, opposite the Landungsbrücken, in the Steinwerder district. It is the main access point for visitors to the major musical productions in Hamburg, which are performed at the Stage Theater im Hafen and the neighboring Theater an der Elbe. The station is modernly designed, wheelchair accessible, and only a few steps away from the theaters. Even outside of performance times, a brief stop here is rewarding for enjoying the view of the city and the water.
