Hidden between shipyard grounds, green spaces, and the water lies the stop Rüschpark in the Finkenwerder district. The docking station is located at the edge of the extensive Rüschpark and is predominantly used by ferry line 68 in shuttle service. Despite its proximity to the Airbus premises and several other businesses, there is a serene atmosphere here. For walkers, cyclists, and those seeking relaxation, the station serves as a welcome starting point for tours along the Elbe.
Not least due to its location directly by the water with an unobstructed view of the course of the Elbe, the stop is one of the rather underestimated insider tips among the Elbe landings. For the people of Finkenwerder and employees in the vicinity, it offers a practical connection to the opposite bank of the Elbe.
In the immediate vicinity lies the Rüschpark, a green, tranquil area with open access to the Elbe. Along the bank, you will find numerous walking paths – ideal for quiet hours away from the hustle and bustle. Those interested in technology can gaze from a distance at the Floating Dock Elbe 17, which regularly accommodates cruise ships and freighters. The Airbus Hamburg production site is also located here, which occasionally offers guided tours.
