The Argentinienbrücke (Elbferry) stop is located in the southern Hamburg harbor on the Elbe island of Wilhelmsburg. It is situated in an industrial area near the Köhlbrand Bridge and primarily serves commuter traffic. The dock is directly at the edge of the container port and is mainly used by commuters and port workers, but it also offers interested visitors exciting insights into the "working harbor" of Hamburg, away from the well-known tourist routes.
The surrounding area is not touristically developed, but it is precisely this closeness to the active port operations that gives the stop its distinctive character.
Köhlbrand Bridge: The distinctive bridge is not far away and can be seen well from the ferry and the shore. It is one of the most important transportation connections in the Hamburg harbor.
Close-up of Harbor Logistics: Several transshipment terminals and industrial facilities are located nearby – perfect for those interested in port economy and modern infrastructure.
Wilhelmsburg Bike Route: From Argentinienbrücke, you can cycle to the Reiherstiegviertel, the IBA grounds, or Wilhelmsburg Island Park.
The Argentinienbrücke stop is served by the HADAG ferry line 73.
